The fares apply in the 23 wards and the cities of Musashino and Mitaka; the rest of Tokyo (Tama) has its own, slightly different fares. Haneda is inside, in Ōta ward. Narita is in Chiba, so Tokyo taxis take you there but don't pick up there.
Special wards, Musashino and Mitaka from 20 April 2026: 500 yen for the first 1 km, then 100 yen per 232 m or 1 min 25 s in slow traffic; 20% more from 22:00 to 5:00; fixed fares from Haneda to most wards.
VerifiedWith the fixed fare, ¥9,000 by day and ¥10,700 from 22:00 to 5:00, plus expressway tolls. Ask for it at the rank. The airport page lists the fixed fare to each ward.
Booked ahead, Tokyo companies charge a fixed fare by zone, from ¥21,000 for the eastern wards to ¥30,000 for the western ones, plus tolls. Hailed in the street, it's the meter, which comes to more.
Not on these fares. Narita is in Chiba prefecture, and the taxis at its ranks are the airport's own, with fixed fares by zone into Tokyo that the airport publishes.
No. The fare on the meter, plus any tolls, is all you pay. Most taxis take cards and IC cards such as Suica.
The driver opens and closes the rear left door from the front. Wait for it rather than pulling it.
