## Questions

### Is the JFK fare really flat?

Yes, between JFK and anywhere in Manhattan it is $70.00, plus the state, improvement and congestion surcharges, $2.00 for a JFK pick-up and $5.00 in weekday rush hour. Tolls and tip are extra.

### Do I pay extra for luggage or passengers?

No. The TLC allows no extra charge for bags, additional passengers or paying by card.

### Are tolls included?

No. The driver adds tolls at the end of the trip, using discounted E-ZPass rates.

### Can a taxi take me outside New York City?

To Nassau or Westchester the meter keeps running at double the rate past the city limit. Anywhere else, the driver may decline, and the fare is agreed before you set off.
